BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU FUNDAMENTALS

Whether you're just getting started or an experienced practitioner, this class is designed to build a deep understanding of the underlying concepts that the advanced class builds upon- we focus on fundamental positions, movements and techniques at a pace the new student can easily keep up with.  If you’ve ever thought about trying BJJ or crave a class that has a technical emphasis on the core moves, our FUNDAMENTALS class is perfect for you!

STRIKING FUNDAMENTALS

An introductory look at our Pura Vida Striking Program. Our unique striking program incorporates techniquest from many different diciplines (Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, etc.) We focus on technique and form while hitting pads and bags rather than each other. A fun and safe way to learn self-defense and get in great shape!

ADVANCED BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Our advanced class teaches an aggressive style of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with live rolling, live drilling, and faster instructional pace.  Great for serious BJJ students, be it for grappling competitions, MMA, or just for general love of the art.

ADVANCED STRIKING

A class for experienced (a Blue Belt or above) striking students where we work at realistic speed with controlled contact. We explore advanced striking concepts, by participating in live offensive and defensive drills with a partner.

KIDS BJJ

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an ideal martial art for kids of all ages. Our comprehensive and belt-ranked Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program teaches kids the fundamentals of BJJ as well as dicipline, patience, self-defence, and confidence in a fun and safe environment.

WRESTLING FUNDAMENTALS

A look at the oldest martial art on the planet through the lens of Mixed Martial Arts. We learn to set up takedowns with our strikes, work offensive and defensive takedowns against the fence, and  experiment with the different strikes that open up wrestling techniques.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

MMA specific fitness sessions, with a focus on explosiveness and cardiovascular improvement. Great for conditioning fighters as well as hobbyists trying to lose weight.  Ask the front desk for more info!

NO-GI BJJ

A submission grappling class that incorporates advanced BJJ techniques with catch wrestling, sambo, judo and various other grappling martial arts, emphasizing speed and athleticism. We roll live, we drill live, and we work at a high speed in this class.
